Community Engagement: SASH team reached out to Afghan communities through several Afghan networks and organisations such as Global Afghan Forum. We had discussions with Afghan women and men on an individual and groups basis. A need to carry out a research on sexual health was expressed.
Social Media: Our media coverage is constantly increasing. We now have 136 followers on Facebook and 129 followers on Twitter making up to total number 265 followers. We have been posting news related to sexual health on using social media regularly, which also results in a weekly eNewspaper.
Promotion and Representation: SASH team members have actively been promoting SASH aims and objectives. Our team members, despite of their engagement in their full-time jobs and education, have attended 60+ meetings, workshops and conferences throughout the year.
Volunteers: Our team is expanding through individual’s voluntary participation. We now have four volunteers supporting SASH aims and objectives. Our team has contributed their time and made financial contributions in small donations to keep the organisation up and running.
